Sounds of distant lands. The same sub-continent, yet strikingly different in perception and sensibility. Wah Wah Jhulara strikes a chord about beauty, aesthetics and way to look at life. How different these are when one steps out of the familiar frame. Sometimes, it feels a great disservice to the diversity of ideas and people around the world, when folks term ideas of love, beauty etc as universal. Human emotions are anything but universal in their experience. There are tremendous differences. Emotions and their manifestations differ across societies. And what a relief that it is different. Imagine a world going through the same format of anger, joy, happiness, desire, ambition, pain etc. On most days it is this diversity which makes the world interesting for me.
