More than memory

That mention of Luria’s by Sacks has been sitting inside the head for a while now. Surely there must be something more than memory alone in people. Which defines them. Constitutes them. Yet the centrality of memory for some.
Ran a few good laps of inclines for evening’s 12 km run. The ramp near Government Printing Press reminded of Doi Suthep of years ago. Luria’s words followed immediately. There was more. There was also the fact that I have discovered that at least for running, I love uphills. Before others, it seems reasonable to touch one’s own inner self which had been hitherto all about memory. This must change.
